I hadn't played a game that required manual mapping before, but I've played a few since and I think MM1 is one of the best. I especially enjoyed mapping out locations, as they are far more than just mazes and actually feel like the places they are supposed to be, whether it's a magical forest, a mountain peak, or a dark cave. It does have some annoyances given its age, but it's really compelling. I was actually very pleasantly surprised by how much I liked MM1 when I played it for the first time around 2008 or so.

My favorites include: 'Death For Sale' with Boris Karloff, 'Terror By Night' starring Agnes Moorehead, and 'The Corpse In The Cab' with Leon Janney as the Cab Driver. Hyman Brown's producing/directing of the show, that used the Opening Sound Effects of the 'Creaking Door',that was actually in the basemnent to the Network, was a stroke of genius ! And, the addition of 'Raymond' as the Host sealed the deal ! The 'Inner Sanctum' Series was one of the most unique ever created in the early days of OTR.
